Summary: First of all the hotel I booked is not the hotel I got. I know you get what you pay for but I didn’t even get what I paid for (talk about false advertising) I specifically booked a room with a pool view. I get to the Lakeland Hotel and it was under construction. The man at the desk said, we need to send you to our other property down the road. I had been driving all day I was exhausted. It was a La Quinta, and it was run down and unclean. There was a sign on the elevator saying “elevator works” which was concerning, the floors in the hallway look like they have never been vacuumed. The room was decent. I will say the woman at the front desk was nice and helpful but I was very disappointed in the whole situation. Expedia said check out was Noon and he said “it’s 11 we don’t do that” I asked him multiple times to honor what it said on Expedia and eventually he did.
