A home rich in history on the Great Sacandaga Lake in Upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains. Originally a farm house built in 1800's, it was located below the elevation of 770 feet and therefore had to be moved in preparation of the Sacandaga Lake. It took nearly a year, but in 1929 it was converted it into a hotel, which was called the Fish House Hotel. Fast forward 90 years, and your friends and family can add to this amazing piece of history!
This unique property boasts nearly 3 acres, with 180' of lakefront to spread out and enjoy an opportunity to connect with friends and family. The 2500 sq ft home includes 4 bedrooms (2 king rooms that also have a set of bunk beds, and 1 queen room) There is another common area with 2 sets of bunk beds for the kids who all want to spend nights together! Two full bathrooms and a large kitchen, dining area, separate living rooms for the adults and kids with televisions ... full cable/internet included. There is a huge wraparound porch if you feel the need to come inside (this area can also be used for additional sleeping arrangements if desired) An outdoor deck includes a grill and picnic tables, along with a fire pit to sit around telling stories and roasting marshmallows.
You have unlimited access to the beach to build sand castles and swim, or to just enjoy the sun! Come play horse shoes, fishing and volleyball are at the lakefront. There are canoes for your enjoyment as well!
