The clear waters of the Wisconsin River are mere steps across the lawn from this peaceful angler's retreat in Lake Tomahawk. Enjoy a small private dock, four kayaks and a canoe to take out on the water, as well as paddles, life vests, fishing poles, and floating tubs to complete the riverfront experience.

This single-level home is one of only 13 properties on a 40-acre parcel surrounded by state land. It's a fantastic place to fish, view abundant wildlife, and snowmobile from the trailhead half a mile away. The house is close to so much: annual events such as Cranberry Fest and the Hodag Country Festival, fishing tournaments, state parks, beautiful bodies of water, summer fireworks, and the towns of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Eagle River.

In short, this is a place for making the most of the great outdoors, whether you're barbecuing on the Weber gas grill by the boat house, taking the two provided bikes for a spin, or capping each evening with s'mores and stories around the firepit at the water's edge.

As for the home's interior, you'll be treated to every essential comfort. The eat-in kitchen features lovely wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast table by the window. When it's time to relax, choose a DVD or Netflix favorite for a movie night on the living room TV, retreat to the game nook to set up a board game, or simply take a seat in the sunroom to admire the golden hour light.

Dock details: The dock is roughly 10 feet long. The water is about one foot deep at the bottom.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
